FootballStats is a live football stat tracker. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: your account exists to keep your games, rosters, and stats saved and private to you. We never share them with other users or sell your information.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and the name you provide. You can also sign in with Google, in which case Google shares the email address associated with your account.

Content you record. FootballStats is a stat-tracking tool. The seasons, games, rosters, player names and numbers, play-by-play logs, stats, and coaching notes you enter are stored so you can reopen and reuse them. This content stays private to your account and is never visible to other users.

Subscription information. If you subscribe, payment and billing details are handled by our payment processor. We do not store your credit card number.

Basic usage information. We collect anonymous, aggregate usage data (such as which features are used) to keep the app fast and reliable.

How we use your information

To provide the service: keeping your seasons, games, and rosters saved to your account so you can return to them on any device.

To communicate with you: sending emails you request, such as game stat reports, or service-related notices about your account or subscription.

To process your subscription: managing your free trial and annual plan through our payment provider.

To maintain and improve the app: diagnosing issues and understanding which features are most useful.

Sharing your information

Your game data is yours. Seasons, games, rosters, and stats you record are private to your account and are not shared with other users or made public.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the app: our hosting platform, our payment processor (for subscriptions), and our email delivery service (for emails you request). These providers process that information only on our behalf.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and game data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time from the account settings inside the app, or by contacting us. Once deletion is complete, your seasons, games, and rosters are removed.

Player information

Because FootballStats can record player names, jersey numbers, and performance stats, you are responsible for having any permission you need to record information about the players you track, including from parents or guardians when tracking youth players. We use this information only to display it back to you within your own account.

Children's privacy

FootballStats is intended for coaches, stat crews, and fans, and is not directed at children. Accounts are created by adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update it in the app and note the new effective date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
